Vinted Users Voice Anger About Sizing Changes
Members of the platform have expressed outrage after an update resulted in listings displaying inaccurate size information.
This online marketplace has updated its measurement guidelines for female and kids' apparel but did not contact all shoppers about the modification.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media stating that platform listings now display an altered size classification compared to what was initially listed as a result of the reclassification.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
The platform has recommended to review their products and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, causing user dissatisfaction.
Sizing System Modifications
Before the change, the sizes had both a single numeric size and a letter, like S/8 or M/10.
The updated approach includes a letter and a range such as S/UK 8-10.
For certain items, the sizing has been recategorised - like an L measurement was previously a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18.

A fashion influencer, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
A different member, located in Scotland, said garments she listed on Vinted with size 14 labels were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Manual Updates
Charlotte Lunn, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the measurements for "each individual item".
"For me this is particularly frustrating, as I'm chronically ill and platform income has been essential for me since losing part of my income," she explained.
Marketplace Information
The platform boasts over 100 million users, including 18 million in the UK.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This is not the initial instance when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: last year, the service retracted a modification concerning shipment methods after backlash from users.
